My portraits have twice been selected for the BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery, London. In 2009 my portrait of Gail Porter was selected and my portrait of Michael Rosen, was chosen in 2011.

In 2013 ‘Michael Rosen, Patron of the Little Angel Theatre’ was acquired by the National Portrait Gallery for their Primary Collection.

Also in 2013, a self portrait was purchased by the Ruth Borchard Collection, after being selected for the Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Competition and Exhibition. This portrait can be viewed online, as part of the Public Catalogue Foundation, which aims to open up art in public collections, to all.

In 2012 two of my portraits were included in the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries.

I studied design at Central School of Art and Design in London. After working and travelling in Asia, I rediscovered my interest in fine art. I combined classes in figure drawing and painting, with raising a family. I continue to build on my skills as a portrait artist, and treat each new portrait as a unique challenge.
