Having shown a strong interest in art when I was young, I went on to study at Central School of Art and Design, London. With a degree in product design I was able to work and travel in the Far East.

On returning to England, I continued to design products then whilst raising a family, rediscovered my interest in fine art.

I studied figure drawing and oil painting, deciding to concentrate on developing my skills as a portraitist.

I embrace the challenges of each new painting, my approach depends on the unique requirements of the commission.
